What is a Blogger
Blogger is a free tool from Google where you can create a blog of your interest. You can create a Blogger account using your Gmail Address. You can create 100 blogs in one account. The content you write in your blog should be unique and please don’t copy paste from other websites or blogs. Once your content is ready then you can publish your blog.
Now I will show you how to verify your Blogger in Google Search Console.
Go to Google Search Console Website → Add your blog address → Click Add a Property.
Click Alternate Methods → select HTML tag → copy the code.
Now go to Blogger and in the left side click Theme → Edit HTML → Paste the code before </head> section closes → and Save Theme.
Again go back to Search Console and click Verify at the bottom and you will see the following image.
This completes the verification process and now we will move on to Crawling and Indexing the Blogger with Google Search Console.
Now click continue and you will land in Search Console Dashboard.
In the dashboard click Crawl → Fetch as Google → don’t enter any text in the box but simply click on Fetch → here Crawling process is completed and you will see a Green tick mark.
Now Click Request indexing → you will get a pop up window → click I’m not a robot → select Crawl only this URL → Go.
Now go back to Blogger and copy your blog post URL as shown in the image.
Go back to Search Console dashboard and paste it.
Now click on Fetch → blog post crawling is completed and you will see a green tick mark.
Click Request Indexing → you will get a pop up window → click I’m not a robot → select Crawl this URL and its direct links → Go.
This completes the process of Crawling & Indexing.
In the Dashboard go to Search Traffic → Search Analytics → Now you will see some Graphs.
Here you can monitor the performance by checking Impressions, Queries etc.
I hope these steps are clear to you and follow the same process for the website.
